Event: It was blind tasting time at Vineyard. Roger decided to see what people liked without seeing the label. All they knew before hand was it was either white or red. What wasn’t blind tasting was some delicious grill steak and chicken from New York Butcher Shoppe. Scott was on hand grilling in the parking lot. The Vildalia Onion marinaded chicken was fantastic.

Bag #5-Delicato White Zinfandel
What: After the Zinfandel grapes are harvested, a “cap and drain” method is used which allows the wine to contact the skins for 6 hours before pressing. This gives the wine a darker color as well as extracting a greater amount of fruit flavors which is evident in the ripe watermelon, strawberry and cherry that is experienced on the palate.
