Covey Run Gewurztraminer 2008
What: The nose is very floral, aromatic and lemony. Spice and lychee flavors come through clean on the palate, making it the perfect wine to quaff ice cold on the patio on a sunny summer afternoon. It is made with early consumption in mind, and best enjoyed while young, preferably before the summer of 2008.
From: Washington State
Winery: Covey Run
Year: 2008
Goes with: Gewürztraminer can be savored on its own or matched with many types of food. We particularly like pairing this wine with spicy foods and Asian cuisine as it cools the heat of the food and complements the intense and exotic flavors.
