Event: In Shop Beer Tasting featuring 13 beers, many hosted by distributor Advintage, of Charleston. As noted on the tasting guide “In Wine there is Wisdom. In Beer there is Strength. In Water there is Bacteria.”

    Mr. Doughtie … you are man of your word. Had some doubt my digital doppelganger would appear on yours and Dennis’ web site but there I am sipping König Pilsner with my gut hanging out and my grey hair shining.

    Good to see you after a few years and your wife and the apple of your eye, your 3-year-old son. Let’s not wait so long for the next (chance) meeting.

    By the way, the beer tasting was my first but certainly not my last. Amazing the variety of beer out there and it’s nice to have individuals who can explain their making and content.
