Event: It was a great way to end June as Eric Norviel, of Quality Wine and Spirits, presented six excellent wines paired with six excellent courses.

What: Course one was assorted California cheese and seasonal fruit. The tasting notes say “Very fruity and floral. Creamy, lightweight and elegant, with a strawberry aftertaste.”

What: Course two was “red, white and original blue” endive salad. This wine is bright straw in color, the nose has some soft floral of honeysuckle and peach nectar and star fruit.”

What: Course three was Southern California spicy chicken crepes. The tasting notes say “lemon oil, honeysuckle, white currant, white peach, and poached pear characteristics are present in this beauty.”
